Dear Customer, in this short english version of our website we want to introduce you our farm, production portfolio and abilities and, moreover, stimulate your curiosity about Special Acrylics we produce.

  

Ludi Metacrilati Speciali is one of the last worldwide manufacturer of special acrylics in form of sheets and blocks. We started over 30 years ago with acrylic embedments: since the beginning our trophy award, financial tombstones, gifts etc. were apreciated because of the incredible transparency (compared to other producers), a real "free-flow" effect and creativity proper of Arch. Di Gregorio Vincenzo that, with his wife Valeria, started with Ludi S.r.l. this long adventure.

  

Like a family company Ludi grows during 80's and 90's opening businness to parfumery caps (giant factices) for display: first step into high quality product was accomplished. Ludi was becoming famous for the ability "to solve apparently unsolvable problems". We always liked to try new ways, new shapes, new technologies and new adventures with a dialog with our customers that increased our portfolio of superb and special realizations for designers, architects, stylist and light industry.

Since the late 90's Antonio and Alessandro becomes member of the staff: Antonio (that is actually the general manager) becomes step by step the "chemical core" of the reactors area and polymerization processes, Alessandro (vice) acts like a "jolly" jumping from supplier to customer to take care that everything is on right way.

  

In 2008 finally two brother are able to "walk alone": retirement of Arch. Di Gregorio and his wife was first step in Ludi Metacrilati Speciali S.r.l. new era.

Metacrilati Speciali (sounds similar in english) means "Special Acrylics" and the motto "State of art in acrylics" was given to Di Gregorio by one of the most famous Italian Stylist in the world; now it has becomen our mission: give more than other can give, do better than other can do and faster than previously possible with primitive technologies.

We are currently polymerization advisors of several research realities in the Accademic world, we are involved in some research projects supported by EU and Italian Funds, we are now active with 3 secrecy agreement on R/D with large PMMA producers in EU to develop specific fields of the vinyl free radical polymerization applied to PMMA.
